Hailing from Hicksville, NY, Coach Daly played collegiately at Molloy College where he was a two-time Team Captain, two-time Academic All-Conference, and a three-time All-NYCAC player.  He previously assisted at Guilford College, Randolph-Macon College.  He has coached at Deep Run, Trinity Episcopal, and is currently the Head Coach at Glen Allen High School.

Coach Daly has two young sons who are fantastic soccer players, but his passion lies in the game that gave so much to him.  As a lacrosse coach in Virginia he sees the need to elevate the level of play.  He often talks about growing up on Long Island and seeing over 100 players fighting for a spot on the local rec team.

"I grew up in an area where if a player was late for practice twice he was replaced by another player of equal skill who was punctual.  There were so many qualified players that you had to be on your A-game all the time.  Virginia is not there yet.  The athletes are here, but their knowledge of the game lags the hotbeds of the game.  I am committed to change that.  I envision a time in the near future where athletes in our area refer to themselves as lacrosse players first, and football, wrestling, or basketball players second."
